The Project: Water-Damaged Ceiling Repair
The project involved fixing an old lathe and plaster ceiling that had been severely affected by water damage. The Process: Restoring the Hallway Ceiling

Next, we installed new plasterboard to replace the old lathe and plaster. This provided a smooth, stable surface that would be able to hold the new skim coat of plaster. After securing the plasterboard, we applied a bonding agent to ensure a perfect bond between the new plasterboard and the plaster.
Once the bonding was complete, we applied a layer of plaster to the ceiling, ensuring it was level and smooth. This was followed by a second layer to achieve the perfect finish. The plaster was then left to set, and we polished the surface to ensure it was completely smooth and ready for painting.
The entire project was completed over two days, ensuring the space was restored promptly and professionally.
